The book must have been covered to protect it at some stage, which has left large brown marks, two on each of the endpapers, front and rear, where the sellotape fixed the cover. Published by Piccoli Milan, copyright 1949, this looks like a later edition but no date. Full page illustrations in colour by Mariapia. Part of the 'Le Monde' series.
